There is not one caravan site along the entire canal network from Edinburgh to Glasgow?

There are several caravan sites within easy reach of the Falkirk Wheel but as you correctly say there are none situated directly on or near the canals.

There are two caravan sites within a few miles of the Wheel.

The first is Auchenbowie Caravan Site which is 7/8 miles from the Wheel site on the M80 near Denny.
